In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, it seems most important to have support in these uncertain times. Catalyst Counseling is committed to the health and well-being of our clients and employees.
To ensure the health and safety of our community we have implemented the following new policies:
- We request that clients and employees that are experiencing flu-like symptoms or have traveled to a high-risk area for transmission of COVID-19 in the last 14 days, or have been in close contact with someone confirmed positive or currently being evaluated for COVID-19 do not come to the office for therapy.
- We have increased the frequency and intensity of cleanings and have assigned staff to be vigilant in the cleaning of these areas.
- We have placed anti-bacterial hand sanitizer in the office for our clients and employees.
- We are requiring employees and patients to follow the CDC guidelines of replacing handshakes with alternative methods of greeting: elbow bumps, hand waves, etc.
Teletherapy
Phone and online sessions (using a Skype-like platform, but HIPAA compliant and secure) are available if this applies to you or if you’d prefer accessing therapy from a private location ilke your home. Please let us know ASAP if you prefer this for any sessions.
We’re committed to continuing care and helping you reach your therapy goals. We offer these options to you for your comfort. If we do find it necessary in the future to move exclusively online, we will let you know. There are no reported virus concerns for our office, we only wanted to offer this as a precautionary option.
In the midst of uncertainty, counseling becomes even more essential and we want to ensure that our communities still have access to help. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely
Catalyst Counseling Team
