We face many different challenges in life whether it be relational, occupational, or personal. I believe that we can overcome these challenges with genuine support, understanding, and guidance within therapy.
Often times we struggle in different areas of our lives and finding balance can become difficult.
Whether it be from losing a loved one, to strained relationships, substance use, feelings of depression, or experiencing trauma; there are ways to increase quality of life and balance. This can be achieved by finding a safe space to share struggles of depression, inadequacy, sadness or grief that can be difficult to manage day by day.
Finding motivation to uplift our emotions and moods can be a long road to travel, especially on one’s own.
To find the balance, we can start by being able to share experiences related to our present pain. I believe therapy is a medium, a tool in which real work can be done by understanding what the problems are and finding pathways to solving those problems. By offering support and guidance, I can help you along the path to reach your specific goals.
As a therapist, it is my belief that working together to achieve goals while creating a space that you can feel safe and heard is what helps you to achieve balance in your life outside of the therapy room. I believe that therapy is best practiced as a collaboration, so that together we can develop pathways that are healthy and meaningful in your life.
